She shot up out of the Netherlands like a rocket. Natasch Lagtand took over the Jazz world with her 2004 album, “World Domination” and has since been touring virtually non stop all over the planet. Along the way she has picked up some great collaborators, most notably she joined forces with the Eritrean superstar Yohannes Tikabo. These two have proved to be a dynamic force of collaboration. But she doesn’t limit her time in just the music business either. It has been in the news recently that she is going to advise city council in Rotterdam on how to better mentor youth activities. It was two years ago that she stepped off the stage and onto the mentoring scene when she started a project called Harvest Me which was meant to serve as a nurturing center for talented young musicians in Rotterdam supplying them with instruments, recording studios, and emotional support. With all this support Tasha’s world is turning out to be a nice place.
